Rasta and 3rd Mile Square

Spread the love:

I have to admit, Rasta @ TTDI (map) is now my favourite hangout place during the weekends. Well, not necessarily during weekends, sometimes on weekdays too. What I like about Rasta is the place itself, especially the “Khemah”. The place is done up similar to middle eastern style Khemah (tent). It’s nice and cozy, good place to just sit down and let the time go by. What is Arabic theme if there’s no Shisha? Yes, they have good Al-Fakhir tobacco for their Shishas. And they’re really good.

As for the food, they have awesome western food, but slightly above average Thai and Malay style food. I wish they would have some Chinese style food there like Pan Mee or Wanton Mee. That would spice things up. So for the food, me and my buddy Ron still prefer Hartamas Square (map).

Now this is us chilling out…

Salsa Time!

Ron invited me to a fashion show sometime last month in 3rd Mile Square (map). He performed that night, for his salsa demo along with his sister Sarah. The fashion show was also a showcase for the new Nattaya Fashion Boutique, owned by Ron’s mom and Sarah. It was quite fun and happening with live band, fashion show and salsa demo. Guests were also invited to join in the line dance towards the end of the event.

Now for the photos…
