Sharp recently announced their new Android One based smartphone that I personally think is cute and adorable. Sharp’s Android One S3 is something that reminds us of the old iPhone 5C that comes in a few variations of pastel colours.
I for one is a fan of small form factor phones. I usually prefer a 5″ screen phones as opposed to the already standard 5.5″ screen ones. So the One S3 here fits my criteria. It comes in 5″ full HD 1080p IGZO display, a name that we can find similar in some of their TV models. And having a 5″ display made it easier to type with one hand.
The One S3 is powered powered by Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with 3GB of RAM. It is a good thing that phone makers are including 3GB of RAM as their normal package nowadays. I used to complain many times before that 1GB of RAM is no longer enough for any smartphones today. I guess they heard me.
It comes with 32GB of internal storage and MicroSD extension is also supported. 13-megapixel camera functions as the main shooter at the back and 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Good to know that the One S3 obtained IP68 waterproof ratings as well. So the clumsy you can feel safe while using the phone in the toilet every morning. But too bad it doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor.
The Sharp Android One S3 is already available in Japan but so far we won’t know when it will arrive in Malaysia. I will surely update you on that once it’s here.
