Before I start on my full review on the wonderful and cute Galaxy S10e, I will begin with a little preview on my first look at the device.
We shall get straight to the point. At first glance, the Galaxy S10e looks cute. I won’t deny that I love compact smartphones and the Galaxy S10e has won my heart in terms of looks and ergonomics.
The Galaxy S10e fits perfectly in my hand and I am able to handle it in one hand. The power button is located on the right side of the phone but closer to the top area. The power button also acts as the fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone quickly.
The AMOLED screen is crispy clear, as to what Samsung is known for, no doubt about that. And a quick look at the back, we can see that camera module right in the center. There’s only two cameras in the S10e, one shoots wide-angle and another for ultra wide-angle. Photo quality is superb and I’m hoping that it can compete with its bigger brother, the Galaxy S10+. Photo samples will be in my full review soon.
This little wonder is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9820 Octa-core 2×2.73 GHz Mongoose M4 & 2×2.31 GHz Cortex-A75 & 4×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55 and supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is another version that comes with a Snapdragon 855 but that is only available for China and US market.
In my initial performance test, PUBG Mobile runs extremely smooth using the highest graphic settings. No lags, no stutter so far. Another thing I like about the S10e is the stereo speakers. The sound is very loud and clear, with a good bass coming out from both speakers.
So I have another week to play with the Galaxy S10e. More testing to do and my full review will be out as soon as I’m done with the tests. Don’t worry, I will take lots of photos if you’re interested to know if the camera is good or not. Same goes with daily usage performance and reliability.
Until then, be sure to keep checking this site for the updates. 😉
